Background
Hooker &
Holcombe, Inc. is an independent corporation providing consulting and
actuarial services since 1956. Our firm is one of the oldest and largest regional actuarial and employee benefit consulting firms in the Northeast. H&H is a privately held corporation. Most of our consultants are also owners.
The scope of our practice
is in the New England region but we also have major national corporate clients.
Our firm has full capabilities to provide actuarial and consulting services for
all types of pension and retirement plans, related pension issues, and retiree medical
and life insurance issues.
Philosophy
As benefit consultants, we strive to provide plan sponsors with innovative solutions to
retirement plan issues. Our business is fundamentally rooted in a client-partnership
philosophy. We structure our organization to encourage strong client-consultant
relationships that, in turn, enhance our ability to understand and act on the needs
